Rainy days

Rainy days! We hope we would be spared this year, nevertheless we came to Belgium prepared. Two hoodies for Jade who appeared to be too small went straight to Felix. The first print was luckily unisex and highly appreciated by our little man.

The second hoody is made from mint-light-petroleum-blue fabric with glitter (silver speckle). The brothers of Felix can't stop laughing that he is wearing a 'girls jumper' but Felix loves his new hoody.

Jade got a consolation prize, a long-sleeves-Tshirt-style jumper in fabric of her own choice. The promised glitter hoody for Jade will be sewed when we have time to buy new glitter fabric in her favorite color, blue!

Lots of sewing the last couple of months, but as my camera is currently on strike I have no real proof for all the work being done...

Rainy weather is a rather rare in the UAE, but this year it has rained more then we ever! So the 'cold' weather inspired us to make a jumper. Cold never stays cold here and when the jumper was finished the weather already turned around into the usual hot April temperatures. So she just put the jumper on for the pictures and it will remain in the cabinet till the summer when we go on holidays to Belgium.

We made a Julia sweater for Jade in a Bambiblauw fabric.

The pattern is very easy to assemble and the result is gorgeous. The size table is perfect for my rather small girl.

Xmas and doubts

The girls requested a nightgown for Xmas. They got what they wished for in the colors and fabric they requested.

Doubts arose when I wanted to take pictures for the blog, should I still blog about the things we make? So many items have not been posted as we have no time, the kids don't want to model them or by the time I want to take pictures they are already starting to wear out.

Anyhow we have decided that although we do not post very often nowadays, we really enjoy doing so and we especially enjoy having lots of pictures from the kids. So see you -hopefully soon!
