Petit Pan

I adore the Petit Pan fabric collection! So after discovering the joy of giving a gift to other passionate sewers, I decided to launch another ‘give away’!
This time you can win a meter of Wasabi Blue cotton and a meter of Calamity Orage oilcloth.

The only thing you have to do is follow/join this blog and cross your fingers. Once we have 207 followers, on the English and Dutch blog altogether we will randomly pick two winners!
Petit Pan lovers you know what to do!

Multicultural attire

Elias has a ‘Marcelleke’ in wear; he claims a genuine Marcel is a foil to his super muscles.
Yesterday it was pretty warm in the desert and the man in the background got an extra headscarf out of his car to prevent Elias would suffer from heat stroke.

Not a bad combination this keffiyeh and Le Fabuleux Marcel de Bruxelles.

Skirts with flocked stars

The first trimester is finished and since this weekend our kids are officially on Christmas break. So that gives us three weeks of playing, reading, partying, doing craftwork, and occupying them. As I cannot bake cookies every day; mummy made two skirts. The simplest patron ever, a 2/3 circular skirt with knit hem fabric and elastic as waistband.

The girls decorated their own skirt. The stars were cut by myself, but the girls choose the color, size and location of each star.
Besides the skirt, Louka also placed some stars on a white roundneck shirt. Christmas is all over her clothes; in the brightest colors.

Louka was in tears when we were taking the pictures, so I had to promise to take only pictures without showing her head and her tears!

And the winner is ...

Anu*miki, congratulations you just won the 2.5 metres of retro rocket rascals and some knickknacks; homemade magnets, Chinese needles, a Happy Home needle book, and a surprise.
Hopefully you will enjoy making nice things with the fabric!

The second winner is Jozefien - Les Mademoiselles.

Keep an eye on this blog as another give away is on its way!

Saint Nicolas!

Our friend Saint Nicolas came by our house this night! He seems to be a very creative man. He brought a gunny sack filled with oranges and clementines. The outside of the bag was nicely decorated with a flock vinyl decoration of Saint Nicolas and Piet.

The kids also got a mini decorated gunny sack, filled with sweets made by two lovely assistants of Saint Nicolas and of course a letter for each of them.

Thanks Saint Nicolas!
